Pretty encouraging to be tied for 2nd and have wins over the first place team and the two teams tied for third

Bramledge will be empty by the time we play down there.Actually, I hate KSU and OU for different reasons entirely. But I don't like other teams grabbing road wins in our conference. It makes it more urgent we grab another one Saturday or next week.
Not w Rick Barnes in charge.Tennessee is not a top 5 team.
"You might want to put that in the paper..."Pretty encouraging to be tied for 2nd and have wins over the first place team and the two teams tied for third
The SEC has been making a concerted effort to improve their basketball product and for the most part it's been working. I think they're the conference that's the biggest threat to someday dethrone the Big XII simply due to their resources. We usually sh$$ on sec basketball but this ole miss miss st game is pretty high level

They wouldn't be competitive there either. Maybe the Ohio Valley...DePaul should consider dropping down to Missouri Valley.
I was thinking maybe Horizon might work, too. They wouldn't be competitive there either. Maybe the Ohio Valley...
It’s a chance to get a win in Waco because I agree they really haven’t been that impressive. Pretty erratic so hope we get bad Baylor Saturday. Now it’s still a road game, so it will be a challenge.I've been questioning how good Baylor is all season. I think they're good but they are dang close to having a handful of more losses:
Honestly when they've faced a team with a pulse or are a good team...they have beaten BYU and Auburn...and that's it. Blown out by Michigan State. Lost to Duke. Lost to Kansas State. Lost to Texas. Lost to TCU.
- Barely won at horrible Okie State by 5
- Barely beat average Cincy at home by 3
- Barely beat average Florida by 4

I don't think it's just basketball. Football is obvious. Gymnastics, women's basketball, etc. all seem to bet getting massive resources towards improvement.
I like Brett Yormark, but Greg Sankey is on another level.
The SEC has geographical advantages in baseball and softball so that isn’t a surprise. Let’s see the SEC without saban in football. No reason Big12 can’t stay up on basketball. Money isn’t everything, big ten has always made more money than the SEC and have far less to show for it.Agreed. We probably have to face the reality that the Big12 is the top basketball conference for now, but the SEC will eventually overtake literally everything. Already have football, baseball, WBB and W softball. Will eventually have MBB. Just too many athletes and too much money available.
