NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Based on what? Eye test? Even you add his rushing yard to his passing yard, it still is not as good as top QBs in the league. Is he clutch like Mahomes in the playoff? Show me the numbers that support your claim, not eye test. Ravens win because of their defense not Jackson. It is a false narrative that he carries Ravens. Ravens defense make Jackson looks better than he actually is.
He is the most overhyped and overrated QB in the league. The numbers don’t support the narrative that he is an elite QB. Ravens win because of their outstanding defense
Do you at least see the irony in constantly saying Jackson isn't a good QB and that he only wins because of their defense, while also getting upset that people aren't giving Brock his due credit and saying he only wins because of the pieces around him?

Who do you have in front of him?
Off the bat, from a statistic standpoint over the last 3 years.

Mahomes
Allen
Herbert
Burrow
Tua(although thats really only been the last 2 years)
Cousins
Smith
Lawrence

My point is that since he has been in the league, Lamar has never even been top 15 in any QB related statistic. Now, I wont deny he is a good QB, and a great runner, but as far as QB's go, hes bottom third tier in the NFL. FWIW, I would put Fields higher. Better passer, and equivalent running ability, the bears OC is just inept

The Ravens without Lamar are a very good team, but with him they are the best team in the league and have shown it all season. Look at who they beat and by how much, they are the favorite right now in Vegas to win the whole thing, to sit there and deny it makes you look silly.
Lamar out of college was a typical scrambling QB that struggled to throw the ball, he is not like that now, the kid can throw the ball and since he is always a chance to run, it allows them to fake a run with him, and then throw as the LBers come up thinking it's another QB run. Unlike Allen he is not going to bulldoze you, he is very quick and just runs by you.
The Ravens are at home, they have been playing great football for weeks, the are the favorite to win the Super Bowl and should be, the Chiefs will have their work cut out for them on Sunday, it's not impossible for the Chiefs to win, but we have to have Mahomes at his best, no drops and no turnovers. Going to be a challenge without a doubt.

I'd take first 3 over him, Herbert is debatable. The other guys aren't at his level. They throw for more yards but that's about it. Baltimore isn't a drop back and sling it type team. They're much more run first and he's big part of that.

They have to be because they know their QB cant throw it 25 times a game effectively. The ravens have done a phenomenal job crafting an offense around Lamar's abilities

Okay so lamar is a better quarterback, if we dont look at any QB stats. Got it!

Lamar is going to win his 2nd MVP of his career and to some he sucks, not as good as Cousin's and a few others on a list. Funny the only other 2-time MVP on the list is Mahomes, but Jackson sucks. Got it.

He has 4,500 yards total if you add them up. I think that puts him at 6th in league. Doesn't turn ball over which plays into their defense and complete team aspect. Mahomes is clearly the best quarterback in league. After that you could argue him against anyone. There's a couple I'd take before him but he's in the discussion after mahomes
He lost 6 fumbles this year and no one brings that up. Also, you need to add rushing numbers to other QBs passing numbers, not only Jackson. Jackson had 4373 total yard.

I assume no response means you do not see the irony.

He doesn’t deserve this year. Media hype and eye test will make him the leaghe MVP this year. Support your claim with numbers not eye test. No one said he sucks. He is a good QB but not elite and nowhere near Mahomes.

Did I say Ravens only win because of their defense? Did I say Ravens are winning despite Jackson and he is the weakest link for Ravens?

The claim is supported by the fact that the league is going to name him MVP, a QB like Cousins has great passing numbers, that does not make him an MVP of the league. It's not media hype, watch the guy play, he is fantastic, and is doing it running and passing the ball.

I did add rushing to everyone's totals. He's 6th if you go by total yards. He's 4th in qbr. 6 fumbles is a lot I'll give you that one. You say he's not Mahomes but I don't think anyone's saying he is. People are saying he's a really good quarterback

So, a QB that won the MVP award three seasons ago, and is going to win it again this year, is the weakest link on the roster. Hell, I did not know that the Ravens were fielded an team from the HOF. Weakest link, you cannot even make this crap up.
