Save UNI baseball!

As Cyclone fans I know you guys have no reason to support UNI athletics, especially one like UNI baseball. But as you may know, UNI baseball has been given until April 5th to raise $1.2 million in order to save baseball for four more years.

I know that I, and the entire Panther athletic community would really appreciate any support you could give. The coaches have set up a site to allow people to pledge money in case this becomes realistic. If you would like to help in any way, I encourage you to visit this site below.

It could have been done, but the AD at the time wanted nothing to do with it. I am sure you know that better than I do.
 
yea and we all know where the money goes to.
Not that i am against that at all but it would be nice to have baseball too.

I pledged 20 bucks... any way we can get some information on how you guys are doing on your quest? and when you need to have the 1.2 million hit by?
 
I was going to pledge $50, but decided it would be better put to use as a gift to ISU....oh, and baseball sucks.

Yeah, I wish there was a way to know as well.

Obviously this site is just individuals, where as I'm sure the staff and players are trying to get corporate donors.

I'm hoping if we get close they will let us know so we can try and get a final push in fundraising.
 
Do like the NBA - borrow $200M from Citiigroup and WFC. Or apply for part of the stimulus money - it is free and transparent.
