Time for a Real Discussion About Caitlin Clark

Actually, cc had time to avoid the collision or at least stop and grab the girl so there would not be a collision. But, the attention *****/ victim that she is she took drastic route. She was pissed they lost, the total acting job and Whoa…..”got the wind knocked out of me “ story is a total fabrication. The other person actually did go flying after cc pushed her and she bounced right back up.
in CC's defense, I think she was looking to her right and was genuinely surprised to run into someone.

The ensuing flailing/spin/flop seemed to be an instinctive natural reaction for her, probably from years and years of being rewarded with free throws. But I don't think it was calculated in the moment.

However, staying down on the court, "requiring" help to get to the locker room, and claiming to have had the wind knocked out of her is undeniably overdramatic.

Yeah, doesn't there have to be contact to the diaphram to have the wind knocked out of you?

She forgot to do one thing......

Maybe she breathes through her arms since those made the most contact when she pushed the fan down to the floor. Either that or that Cyclonic spin sucked all of the air from the immediate vicinity and left her gasping. Blame it on Cyclones.

Wait til I tell you about this thing with an invalid fair catch signal …

I know when I want a hardcore football rules explanation I consult a gymnast with a sheet of printer paper and a sharpie.

I assume the pained look on her face was because it took a lot of effort on her part to write that nonsense.

We all know it wasn't a fair catch... which is why it was ruled an invalid fair catch.

How long are they going to drag out ******** about that damn call? I may blow a gasket they next time I hear a Hawkeye make a remark about ISU complaining about refs. Between this, CC, and the whole mbb team it's ingrained in their culture.

It’s like if an ncaa wrestler gets jumped by thugs in an alley some wrestling moves will happen by instinct without even thinking.

CC gets bumped by surprise and the same instincts kick in to flop.

Even Murph kind of agreed framed like that.

You've nailed it. I'm sure it was completely accidental running into that gal. Her reaction was too quick to have been the process of any actual thought. But to lay there, have to be helped off and doubling down on it in your press conference is where she totally loses me. Once she'd had a moment to process, she decided it was an opportunity to make this about her and she definitely took it.
