Time for a Real Discussion About Caitlin Clark

Holy cow that producer lost all credibility when he says Fran is a better coach than Davis. Davis actually had some good teams.

He clarified it that he wasn't old enough to watch Tom Davis, so Fran is the better coach for him.

I'm not old enough to have watched Wilt Chamberlain but it doesn't make Hason Ward the better center.

I actually feel bad for some of the younger Iowa alums who have kind of been cult brainwashed into thinking Fran is the best a program can do. The fans over 40 mostly know the truth at least.

I wonder if she'll take an NIL haul to come back next year to Iowa City or somewhere else. She's never getting this kind of attention again once she's in the WNBA.

Fran may be good, but he's no Lute, or Tom

Listening to the account of the bump is hilarious by CC. Just trying to get off the court as quick as possible as a celebrity......my peon teammates were just walking and they were fine but I was blindsided, it was scary and thankfully I was ok it only knocked the wind out of me. OSU tried their best to take me out to win a conference title. I'll be back soon, and hopefully finally win a conference title, but if I dont its because my teammates didnt step up.

Olympics could be pretty big if she stars for a gold medal team.

I full expect Haliburton to star for the next US mens team if he's healthy.

I could be wrong but I think the NWSL soccer league is actually growing way faster than the WNBA and has a better profitability outlook. I hope both succeed, just seems the WNBA never caught on as fast as that soccer league already did. I'm not sure I buy the comparison with what Tiger did for golf because golf had a ton of history and viewership and he boosted it to a new level where this is basically starting from scratch where even a lot of college wbb fans don't watch any pro basketball women or men. I doubt anybody was out there following Stanford golf and had never watched or heard of The Masters before Tiger.

My feeling is that she will move on after this season but if she did come back NIL wouldn't be a factor. She doesn't get anything from Swarm now since she already has her national endorsements.

It does remind me of movies like The Bodyguard or that one where Clint Eastwood is a Secret Service agent and John Malkovich gets by security with his plastic asthma inhaler gun. Evil genius murderers trying to kill her everywhere she goes probably. If you see something, say something.
