KU @ ISU on CBS

I think it was announced a few weeks ago, if not before the season. It will be an electric atmosphere no matter what, but if we beat KSU on Wednesday, KU will get the full Hilton treatment. They are extremely beatable, and Dickinson will make for a good KU big man villain.

Yes. There was some discussion at that point, but I think this is the first game on CBS at Hilton since 2000?
2001 against Kansas I believe is the last regular season game on CBS.
Who calls games on CBS? I'd probably prefer ESPN with Fran for this game.
Old school! I feel like CBS used to carry a lot of our games back in the day before ESPN took over more of the sports programming. I'm old enough to remember Billy Packer calling the very last Big 8 Conference Tournament Championship game against KU back in 1996.
It's the only game on CBS next weekend, so you will probably have Ian Eagle and Grant Hill/Bill Rafferty. I think Nantz is done with basketball, plus he'll be in Baltimore.
Rafftery and Ian Eagle are their #1 team but not sure who's doing the game Saturday.
I would love to have Rafferty call a game in Hilton. He and Lundquist have done some ISU BB games before
That 1996 Big 8 title game. Do you remember the intro song CBS played in a little music video before their traditional college basketball intro music?
CBS calling the poll voters, "Keep ISU in the Top 25, we have a national game coming up!"

We conspiracy theorists (AKA old people) are so cynical!
Think we should stay in based on the number of votes we had. We split two road games versus two teams ranked above us so no real reason to drop us.
Not a "loser mentality" but I think most teams would probably take a road split at two good teams, one without your best player.
