*** Official #24 IOWA STATE vs #19 TCU Game(Day) Thread ***

The free throw discrepancy makes you want to vomit. I understand home court advantage but so far this season it seems like the fouls are not being called both ways
What's really annoying too is how BRE is always getting "quick whistled" for any little thing.

And when he gets clobbered like vs Houston, there wasn't even a review which was ridiculous and no flagrant, and it was for sure.

Bleeding from his mouth? Foul on BRE of course.

Last year vs KU he gets called for a flagrant 1 for turning to run up the court, and when his arm swung back from his running motion he clipped a KU player behind him. I'd never seen a player called for a flagrant foul for running until then.

The refs apparently think he's a dirty player so he never gets any calls whatsoever. B.S.

TCU could very easily have been 4-0 in league before this game. They got absolutely screwed at KU at the end of the game & still not sure how they pissed the game @Cinci down their leg to let it go to OT before losing. Can't expect to keep a team like that, with that much talent, down double digits all game at their house in front of a packed crowd. Just win.

Weird you didn't pull up my other post where I admit I was wrong.

Still doesn't change the fact it was the best game I've seen them play in 3 years under TJ considering the circumstances and they still almost choked it away.
take a joke

im also the one who said I’ve seen this movie before. this time there was a plot twist!

NOCREATIVITY

When have we came back 19 down in the 2nd half since TJ has been here?

Hasn't happened. He's had super limited offensive teams and won.

He's had wins that probably shouldn't have happened though, and didn't need that 41st minute that is apparently now a legit thing to say.

We were up 12 with 4:23 left, should have had a comfortable 8-10 point win.

I'm not taking anything away, that was a huge win on the road and the best team effort I've seen for 35 minutes, but it shouldn't have been that close. We completely dominated them.
You expected this team to win on the road by 8-10. Come on now. TCU was #19, they aren’t DePaul. It would be astounding if we win any road games this year by 8-10, even if we are up 20.
