*** Official #24 IOWA STATE vs #19 TCU Game(Day) Thread ***

I'm actually excited to see what we do here even if it's a total clownshow.
I actually am, too. I think it’ll be better than most on here, do. Don’t think we’ll get the win, but it won’t be as ugly as 2020, when Tyrese went down.

I think we will do better than when TH went out, too, but only because Prohm’s entire offensive philosophy relied on one player carrying the load, and we did not have any other options. TJ’s philosophy is much better, imo, but I still don’t know how we overcome the loss of Tamin’s offense or his defense that turns into offense.

Just arrived , no expectations without Lipsey but definitely a good opportunity for others to step up, and win or lose maybe spring board something for rest of season.

Today is the 56th anniversary of the "Game of the Century" played between UCLA and Houston. It was the first regular season nationally televised prime-time game.

Ah, and thanks for that reminder of how old I am. I watched that game. Man, that match up of Elvin Hayes (The Big E) versus Kareem abdul-Jabbar (than known as Lew Alcindor) was epic. It was a BIG deal.

I might have to watch Purdue hopefully kick the lucky ******* sqawks ass.

Putting any faith in Purdue basketball is like buying magic beans.

Were they in any other conference they’d be banned from a 1 seed for a decade.
