*** Official #24 IOWA STATE vs #19 TCU Game(Day) Thread ***

Has there been any word? I guess we'll find out either way.

It would be nice if 'they don't have their best player' worked in ISU's favor one of these days.
BYU didn't have their leading scorer the other night who averaged 17.8 per game. They were also missing a forward who was their leading scorer and rebounder last year.

Rob Jones and TJ (as head coach) are both 2-0 at TCU, might as well make it 3-0. Breakout performances from C Jones and Pav make us feel better about the team going forward. Ward, BRE, and Tre each give solid contributions.

Exactly.

Seems like 'they're down their best player, should be a win' turns into the opponent upping their game in some way to compensate.

ISU doesn't have the skills across the board for that imo but one can dream.

Having Curtis Jones step up would be good for today and really good for the development of the team for the rest of conference play (and beyond).

Assuming he's out, I'm very curious to see what the team looks like / plays like for a whole game without Tamin.

Otz said day-to-day on Thursday with a "shoulder sprain", he sounded doubtful to me.
