Maybe Kirk has realized he doesn't need an offense at all, it worked pretty well this year. Next season after the opposing team turns over the ball, the Hawkeyes immediately send out a punt team or field goal team and go for better field position, or 3 points. All touchdowns will come from the defense.

Son told me that the buzz he’s hearing is that Hawkeye fans think the Washington OC will be their new OC. Probably since he’s from Iowa. Who would go from that Washington offense to one that is truly offensive.

I think Chris Hassel had the best idea when he recommended that Kirk Ferentz just name himself as OC. No more BS.
