This is a good post. Well done, sir. That doesn’t mean much. Half the ISU fans on here wouldn’t pick Campbell, why would the UW fans?
Maybe it's just the small town kid in me but I have a hard time picturing him pulling up stakes and moving his four kids from Gilbert to Seattle.
Klieman staying at K-State per Mike McFeely.
While I don’t think the new UW coach is CMC, it seems odd he hasn’t come out and said he doesn’t want it or he’s being extended or something
Sure wish he would.
More odd, IMO, is that Grubb would burn the bridge in case Damon’s first 4 or 5 choices fell through. Must be a significant personality conflict. While I don’t think the new UW coach is CMC, it seems odd he hasn’t come out and said he doesn’t want it or he’s being extended or something
Seems like he got told no and the only other option he was considering was Alabama OCMore odd, IMO, is that Grubb would burn the bridge in case Damon’s first 4 or 5 choices fell through. Must be a significant personality conflict.
Let's trade Campbell for Grubb. That's fair.Seems like he got told no and the only other option he was considering was Alabama OC
FYI as of right now, nobody on ISU or CMC’s side knows anything at all. The only one on our side that knows anything either way is CMC himself.
I agree with your first sentence. If you follow any national writers at all, you are definitely wrong on the last sentence.Usually there is smoke and then fire. This seems to be a case of no smoke when people want there to be smoke. I see nothing that sees Campbell even being considered or Campbell being interested. Just message board posters wanting to start the smoke

Keep in mind that part of the national writer’s job is to get people to read your articles. A former writer for the Minneapolis Star Tribune was interviewed on a local sports radio station about a year ago. The topic of changing coaches came up. The writer said when a coach left, his publicist would ask him to write an article with 5 potential candidates. One candidate must be a national brand, and one must be a local person, and then just pick three people who you think would be best fit.I agree with your first sentence.
