*** Official Oklahoma State vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

I wasn't saying I really want to see him play, I was just seriously wondering why one of the top 3 HS recruits in the history of our program is on the bench. I know when he was playing earlier in the season he was pretty slow and terrible, but has anyone asked where he is, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, developmentally?

He’s smiling

I have not asked him that.

Thanks, that really helps. A lot.
He's adjusting, he's kind of a tweener for College Ball and, it appears to me, that he hasn't quite picked up the O or D yet. He looks kind of lost out there. We can't have anyone lost in the Big 12. Great athlete, he will catch up, be a stud and go pro, eventually.

Oh so you're a Hok troll?

Or ZRF's sibling or something?

He’s got a bunch of grown ass men junkyard dogs ahead of him. Woof. Woof.

A lot of experienced and talented guys ahead of him, still adjusting to D1 from Iowa HS hoops, and the team has pared down the lineup for conference play (as high level basketball teams tend to do).

I think when people hear 5 star, they assume they'll be Kentucky one-and-done level coming in, and that's not always the case unfortunately.

Speaking of bench, Don't think our bench has scored in the 2nd half yet. I don't think we've even taken a shot.

Good point. He’s not a KU or UK one and done 5-star, as evidenced by him not being at one of those schools.

For basketball if you play in one game the redshirt is burned unless you have a medical/injury.
Oh, OK, I thought it was a percentage of games. My bad.

No, he won't get a redshirt AND he won't need 3 years. There, corrected.

OSU is not good. One of those games I just want to fast forward through and get to the end with a comfortable W.

This team is playing incredible defense.

And the offense comes along here and there.

They can at least force the lane a bit or get to the line to respond to momentum.

Need to keep it up here and not let even a sliver of hope come through.
