Many of the broadcasts during Big 12 play though are typically handled the same way as a normal ESPN level broadcast in terms of announcers, etc. however.
I would think someone could put out a press release to help those traveling from a distance know if they should start out, especially under the current travel conditions
With OSU’s history with plane crashes, I hope they stay home and be safe. Not worth the risk.

Reports from the national weather service had said that travel would get better this morning and then worse as the day goes on.

Sure they can. I guarantee they could get a 737 on the ground in Ames. Having it in a condition to take back off again, well, that’s the trick.
No one is saying that it is. But I'm guessing that OSU has policies in place after 2 fatal plane crashes in 25 years.
