The allocated stuff goes really fast so it’s really just luck unless you know a guy in the liquor biz.
I did get a bottle from Cyclone once but it wasn’t on the shelf, I asked about it and they pulled one out of the back they had just got in.

Also took shots with fiancé during MN Wild hockey game with our NHL drinking game. Bacardi Límon was her choice.
We both can pick two players to score (rotate picks) and when your player scores, everyone else has to take a shot. Fun to play with multiple people.

The single is good but a little hot at 120 proof. I usually add a tiny squirt of water to mellow it out a bit.Haven't had the single.
I'm the type that usually adds a couple cubes to most and let them melt a bit so my taste may be way different.
I think the value is really good. Maybe mid $30s.

Nice. I’ve never seen a single bottle of Weller on a shelf in Iowa. Found a 1.75 of SR In Witchita once.
Iowa sucks for finding good whiskey. Luckily I have gotten my hands on a few good bottles.
Crazy I found my bottle of SR (750) in Wichita also. Never see it around here.
I guess. But you can always find Cedar Ridge which is a terrific mid-range whiskey.
