If its high efficiency(PVC exhaust out the side of your house), make sure the exhaust/intake aren't frozen over. Seems more likely given the weather. The condensation can build up in colder weather. Hair dryer works to clear it if so. If it is the filter, pull it out and get one when you can.
Most cities call it out in their sidewalk and street regulations...Most cities don't allow open burning. Some allow covered fire pits. Even fewer have times where you are allowed to burn yard waste. It's also illegal to just dump gasoline on the ground, which putting it on the snow would be considered the same I'm sure (FYI this applies to you rural folks as well). So yeah, lots of laws probably prohibit that particular activity.
Only if it is a crosswind landingLanding a plane in this weather just sounds crazy.
This seems like a good night to watch The Thing.

I was in a prop plane when hurricane sandy was hitting the U.S. I was on the western fringe of the storm, but winds were gusting over 50 mph easily. The winds were perfectly parallel to the runway. Pilot had no issues taking off.Only if it is a crosswind landing
Did you know about your SO's sorted past before proposing? You forgot the in-law part. I unfortunately married into tavern Hawkeyes.
When I did get home our driveway access is through the alley which was not plowed at the time. Luckily there is a small business district a couple blocks away I could park at because with a winter advisory there is no parking on the streets.
When alley did get plowed and I went to go get my vehicle I was walking down neighbors driveway to get to my car and fell and totally wiped out. Luckily all that I hurt was my pride.
