Big Rob has improved and of course plays his ass off 100% of the time, but Ward needs as many minutes as possible over him. He brings so much more overall than Rob.
Keshon Gilbert’s hero ball game he goes into for multiple possessions a game drive me nuts. I would sit his ass for that ****.
I like that foul on King. That was a nice throw down to the floor. They need to know where the hell they are.
I would be fine if Gilbert and king don’t take a shot outside the paint the rest of the year. So good attacking but shot just inconsistent.
Do you know the game of basketball? The +s thus far have outweighed the -s.
It's insane they only have 4 fouls to our 3. They've had 4 obvious fouls on a lot of single possessions.
Obviously we're playing through it well but this is nuts.
They've been getting away with a lot in general. After 3 fouls in the first few minutes, and a lot of whining from Sampson, refs kind of let them do whatever until just now.
Gilbert is great on D but his offensive game is hero ball. It’s like we are required to have one hero ball player per year. It’s some sort of rule
Rob was shooting 67.5% with 1.1 turnovers coming into this game.

Gilbert gets a little too much criticism for this. Not saying he’s perfect but His “hero ball” shows up when the other 4 guys are unwilling to take a shot or work to get open. Someone has to shoot it.
He’s not good at creating his own shot. It can work against the low majors, it won’t work against big 12 competition.
