Time for a Real Discussion About Caitlin Clark

A triple double in college basketball is not a single statistic haha. Clark is great and the best player in college women’s basketball today. She’s not a generational player, that’s just silly.
You sound completely and totally ridiculous. Way to let your cardinal and gold glasses blind you of reality. Just give credit where credit is due. She's as good of a women's college player as we have ever seen. Next you are going to tell us Ashley Joens was actually better.

I wonder how much a Sue Bird or Diana Taurasi would have scored if they took about 50% of their team's shots.
I think you just killed your own point.

Those two had powerhouse UConn talent around them to carry some of the load and the other team had to guard everybody. That's not at all what Clark has especially post-Czinano.

She's arguably the best women's college player of all-time. To say she's not just makes a person sound like a bitter moron. It's not even debatable she's top 3.
For discussion, without googling, give me your top ten all time womens players. Only reason I say this is that very few would be able to list them and if they did, they would all be recent because people may people only pay attention when their team or an instate team is doing well.

I would not be able to do this myself

Makes it even more impressive that everyone knows shes getting the ball and they still can't stop her. Michael Jordan was overrated too then. Only players that are actually overrated are allowed by their coaches to take that many shots. In all seriousness I don't even know what you are arguing. You are pretty much making my point. Appreciate it.

But Diana proved to be highly successful winning championships no matter where she played and during a very long career. CC hasn’t won any championships yet.

She went to UCONN. She isn't winning any more championships than CC if she isn't at UCONN or Tennessee. CC took Iowa to the NC game. If she's actually overrated Iowa's roster must be absolutely loaded with talent. How many national championship games have the ISU women been too? Is Bluder just that good of a coach?

CC why do you keep posting should you not be in the gym throwing up half court shots? She is a very good shooter/player but to say best all time no.

This has to be physically painful for you isn’t it.

Wut??

WAY more people in this country know who Brock Purdy is than know who CC is…. not even close. Purdy is possibly the leading candidate for MVP of the NFL.

So are ISU fans running around comparing Purdy to MJ or Tiger? Hell no. Even if Purdy won MVP and the Super Bowl this year….. he still wouldn’t even come anywhere close to being mentioned in the same breath as MJ or Tiger. And no Cyclone fan would be dumb enough to make that comparison.

But Hassel, and many other Hawk fans, mention CC in the same breath as MJ and Tiger…. that’s beyond stupid. Just ignorant and insanely arrogant.

She's in the conversation. Only an ISU fan would say otherwise.

She definitely has to be in the conversation for best women's collegiate player ever IMO.

Now... if she had Ashley Joens on court demeanor... she'd be the total package. On the court, I'd much rather have my daughter act like Ashley than CC any day, not even a discussion.

Not me. I'd rather have my kid have a killer instinct. That's clearly a big part of why she is so successful. She'll make a living playing pro ball unlike Ashley Joens.

So if CC success is based on titles why are you butthurt Brock Purdy is "underappreciated"?

Women's college basketball wasn't even really a sport until the mid-1970's and even then only certain schools did it. The list probably wouldn't include anyone pre-1980 anyway. Miller was considered that person for years until Swoopes became part of the argument.
