I think they were a step slow, penetration and kick outs were the result. Did not stay in front of them

From what I saw it was simply a matter of us missing shots down the stretch vs them making those same sort of shots.

I thought OU executed better particularly on that 7-0 run.

It happens and this was ISU's first real road game.

I know people were complaining about open threes, but OU will run a layup drill on you if you don’t help on penetration. They have 2 or 3 guards that are tough to keep in front of, so that was the poison we picked.

On the other end, I thought OU did a good job of keeping our guys out of the paint while keeping in touch with our kick out options.

We were a few plays away from stealing one on the road despite all that (and some key foul trouble).
