Would be amazing if he’s even just a solid starter or consistent depth!

Looking at his background, hard to pencil him in as a sure starter at ISU. Looks like he was a backup at Wisconsin playing 10 games in 2022 and 1 game in 2023. I don't know how Wisconsin's OL technique changed from Chryst to Fickel. Maybe that was a factor in his decline in reps during 2023.

But obviously the coaching staff likes his abilities and size. His Wisconsin experience is good as they are known as a big, mauling type OL and Clanton probably feels he can work with that. Especially if he is strong in the run game.

A good get, doesn't seem like much downside and hopefully Clanton can coach him up.

Good size and academic all conference. Let's see what Clanton can do with him. Wisconsin always has good lineman so they wouldn't have recruited him if they didn't see something.

Unfortunately as poor as the OL has been at times, I think it’s safe to pencil him as a starter. Now, there’s a reason he was 3rd string at Wisconsin, but after the results ISU got from center last year, he’ll be a definite improvement
