Seems like he's gotten a role established to be a guy who can defend and hit threes in rhythm.
My grade for ISU in first half: C.

Pretty flat with little flurries to keep them at arm’s length. I expect that they’ll be sharper coming out of half.

First 5 minutes of the second half will be important. We need to impose our will, or the rest of the game will be a real dog fight. Just ask KU.
Tre King is REALLY struggling with his shot tonight. Rob had a great start to the game, but struggled with decision making on two key possessions late in the half - had wide open teammates in both instances. Lipsey plays so hard ALL the time - hope his shots start falling in the 2nd half!
You're allowed to tip a loose ball to yourself though.
That called seemed like calling a travel on a guy who tips a rebound and catches it himself. I figured it was a bad foul call, didn't seem like a travel was even possible.
Okay - I admit a stupid take on Tamin's shooting. He hasn't shot that much - thought he had missed more shots than he actually did (he's at 50% according to the box score).
Your grade probably is more accurate, but I couldn't find a way to make "Burtis Jones" work.
I've done this a couple times this year as well. I'll think "Tamin's not shooting very well" then I'll look at the box score and he's 3/6.
The advanced stats love him because he creates a lot of points, assists and opponent turnovers without taking a lot of shots. His PER this year is elite so far.
Rob did have a high/low half. I think those possessions late in half, he got into "overthink" situation and he's more effective going quick & by instinct.
