Utah Tech is the newest name for Dixie State College -- the JUCO where McCarney found Walter Nickel (TE) and the Fisher twins (OL).
Since then, they've gone from a JUCO to a 4-year school to D-II and now transitioning to D-I.

Going down to Division 3 for a moment I'm watching Coe and Pacific on YouTube and Coe hit a 3/4 court buzzer beater at the end of the 1st qtr and a half-court buzzer beater at the end of the 2nd qtr.
Go Coe College! A Kohawk WBB "great" went to school with my children, starred at City High, starred at Coe, and is now an elementary school teacher in Iowa City and assistant coach at City High.

My middle child, a daughter, graduated from Luther. She ran track one year, then focused on choir and her studies. Anyway, she has an anti-Wartburg world view. If I was passing thru Waverly for work, I’d take a selfie in front of the Wartburg sign to antagonize her! Lutheran rivalries crack me up!
