Harrison to be released by the colts

He may re-sign with the Colts at a lower price.

I had not heard that much.

Could this be the falling apart of the Colts? Dungy now gone, Harrison out...

I don't think losing Harrison is horrid. He's getting up there in age, missed a fair amount of games recently, has that legal issue, etc. Psychologically could be the biggest part of his departure.

he's definately lost a step over the last few years and has been injured. i bet there will be a few teams out there that will take a veteran WR though.

This is a little saddening - but not overly. I mean - the added head space in terms of money will be useful, and he really didn't do all that much this past year. Granted, he's a guy that defenses have to account for, which counts for something, but I've got all sorts of confidence in Gonzalez being a solid #2.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was re-signing for a lower price to be able to finish out in Indy. If not, Vikings pay attention. Don't overpay him like Berrian.

The Colts have way too good of a front office to fall apart. I wish Marvin could end his career in Indy but it doesn't look like that will happen. He's in better shape than most receivers when they hit 36. He's played smart and avoided taking the big hits. i think he'll be a good #2 guy for a team looking to take a chance on him.
