*** Official Florida A&M vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Team could be a little sleepy to start due to finals week. Slow first half but a like boulder once it gets going it's hard to stop in the second half.

First have zombie clones "only" lead by 13 but second half sharknados win by 30. Don't cover so the world is coming to the end.

Omaha plays 15 mins and shows slight increased production. 8 pts, 2 rebs, 1 block, 1 steal, 2 TO's.

That loss was the beginning of the end for the Prohm era.
It should have been two years earlier when Milwaukee ran us off the Hilton floor by the tune of an 18 point thumping. Everyone gave him a pass as this was the year after Fred's guy were gone, but anyone with a basketball mind saw he was in over his head even before that. Crazy that he stayed on for another 3.5 seasons

Does anyone know how this came to be? One team scheduled them first and the other vultured. I can’t imagine all 3 parties worked together to make it this way.
Makes me wonder - I don't know inner workings of scheduling - do schools bid for bye games or does the host school extend invites? Or maybe both? Maybe in this case both programs schedule famu then it was determined it's more efficient for it to be on same trip. I have seen many times teams doing a "regional swing" so there's probably some collaboration among them.

Ya. I’m sure it is all of the ways you described.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the conferences help broker some of the matchups. I could see the AAC, MVC, etc reaching out to the a P6 conference and telling them they have X teams looking for a buy game and will accept Y as the rate.

I could also see ADs calling ADs. Either cold calling or using their networking.

And then there is however this FAU trip came to be.
