It looks like the NCAA may lose the right to enforce any transfer restrictions on the 27th. link
If the temporary restraining order advances to an injunction can Alisa Williams play? And will if this happens do you think Bill will get her in the rotation?

Not sure it's worth losing a half season of eligibility just to play this year is it? On top of that where do the minutes come from as she is another forward where we are already pretty deep at with Diew, Brown, Bristow and even though they technically play they 5/C spot but are listed as forwards Crooks and Natabou. She hardly played on a stacked LSU team last year so will be interesting to see how she has looked in practice.

She is eligible to play now (always has been eligible since first transfer) but chose to redshirt and sit. Covered on CW and Blum podcast.

Edit: I was incorrect. It is her first transfer but she entered the portal late so has to sit out.

In college basketball, the period that players will need to officially enter the portal will begin the Monday following Selection Sunday and will end after 60 days. For example, in 2023, the notification-of-transfer window will last from March 13 to May 11.

LSU reserve freshman forward Alisa Williams has entered the NCAA transfer portal after being part of a national championship in her first season, according to reports.

But Williams will have to wait her turn. She said Tuesday she will redshirt her first season at Iowa State after entering the transfer portal late.

Saw that the NCAA says if the ruling is reversed and they are not eligible to play after the two weeks that they may charge them with a year of eligibility.

That may be true. So I wouldn't risk it for just Troy and UNI, but if it is imposed how do you think they would use her? Maybe to spell Diew or when we are running small, but long without Nelle and Crooks.
