Transfer Portal Tracker

You ever been to a Grand View game? They get alot of players from Texas who aren't quite big enough to play at another level. They would run circles around the high school talent in this state, especially talent in Hawarden or whatever level Dekkers played at.
Northwestern (Orange City currently 14-0) runs circles around NAIA and half their roster is made up from kids in Lyon and Sioux county.

Would be interesting to see what he would do in the NAIA
I was told early in the football season that Dordt was legitimately trying to bring him on, but the AD had said there was "a lot that had to happen" before it was going to become reality. The impression I got is that either the NCAA was pressuring the folks at NAIA to stick by them, or the NAIA admin folks thought it was a bad idea.

If I'm Dekkers, I skip all of it and try and latch on with the USFL/XFL and see what opportunities he can shake loose with his play on the field. You won't get paid a whole lot, but it's a pathway to the NFL. NAIA would be a dead end for his career anyway.

I'd repent. Become a speaker to teach children about the dangers of gambling. Throw in the evil firewater too.

Then open a ministry and collect tax free dollars!

Dolla dolla bills, yo!

It would be great to land Ryan Turner, the OT from Princeton, and the WR from Tulane. Could use an edge rusher, in addition to these players.
Have we had any commits yet? At one point i heard the Meeks kid from Tuskeegee was in, but never did see that confirmed. Missing out on Cozart is kind of a bummer

I get what you are saying but USFL/XFL quarterbacks are light years better than Dekkers. He would need to start in some lower level arena league type deal. He would have lost out to Rocco this year in my opinion. Kid really messed up his future. Sad to see such a young person do that. Good thing is he still has time to recover and get an education and do well in life.

Nebraska now out of runnng for McCord from OSU, Rayiola‘s uncle got a raise as an NU coach, so now he is slated as a Nebraska commit.:(

Maalik Murphy (Texas backup QB) is now in the portal. The guy is a physical specimen with an arm cannon. It will be interesting where he ends up. Most chatter I've seen suggests Auburn or LSU, which makes sense.
The Nebraska coach went off on the portal this week saying when asked about the current portal system by Pat McAfee, "System, what system? Currently there is no system." I'm paraphrasing, but I don't think that he's wrong.

This is getting out of control. I feel the coaches should be fed up with it. It doesn't really benefit the players with this much free agency in a lot of cases.
Good example being the QBs at LSU now when Maalik Murphy transfers there.
