Updated football roster

There is an updated football roster on Cyclones.com. It shows there have been some defections. They still don't have some of the walk-ons from last year up like Mansfield, Mease, and Slifka; but they do have the JC's on campus now.

I may have missed a few, but here are the names of some of the guys that we didn't know were leaving, but are apparently no longer a part of the team: Matt Berg DL, Zac Brouillette LB, Travis Cruise LB, Stephon Dale DL, Brian Perry DL, Alexander Robinson RB, and Eric Schultz TE.

Maybe I'm wrong but they were on the roster last year, but not the updated one.

From what I've seen Chizik is very upfront on players chances to play or not play. Can't blame guys for going where they have a chance to play. I like the honest policy. It's much more fair for the players.

Me too. Dale especially, I was under the impression that he'd be a starter or at least a candidate for heavy playing time this year.

I'm also suprised by Dale, I thought he was in the mix for major PT!

I thought that someone said a few days ago that Dale had left. I sad about Robinson if true. He couldve been a dangerous weapon. He loked great on video. Might have been a quick scatback player like Ross was for Nebraska a few years ago.

Running back problems continue since Ennis and Davises left. What does this do the graduation rate and possible loss of scholarships due to several people leaving the program? Jamiacah cannot get here soon enough.
