Pregame video: Jackson Paveletzke on being undersized, playing with a chip on his shoulder

Yep, I so eat crow on this kid. Saw him the first game and chuckled: A) he is 12 years old B) he is 5'4'. No way. I wont even attempt to kid you all and say "he slowly gained on me." Pppsshh, he came out in game 2 and cold punched me in the chops and immediately captured my fandom.

The kid looks like he should be in high school but looks can be deceiving. He's pretty athletic and has good skills. If you saw him walking on campus you'd probably think he's just another one of the kids.
I think his best quality is that he is fearless. Just goes out there and plays. Calmly dribbles around in traffic while looking for openings, even when in the paint.

I love the little guy, and I hope he annoys our opponents in the same way Payton Sandfort annoys me.

He's the nice kid in the neighborhood that mows old folks' lawn but also the edgy bad ass who can get you things.

His court vision is what impresses me the most. Finds guys while dribbling into heavy traffic, and delivers accurate passes. His ability to hit a lot of different shots is also impressing me. Knows how to take it to taller stronger players

C’mon ESPN, show Jackson a little respect and at least get the correct photo! (p.s. I love the way he plays the game!)
