Well, Bounty is no where near the Iowa Men's team. They are not quick, but could be confused for a pick-up team.
Agreed. And its not really a disrespect to her to say that. If you listen to Serena Williams talk about playing against male tennis players, she said during interviews it was a no contest.
Presuming that the guys on the other team were trying and being as physical as they would against everyone else, yeah, she makes no impact. Maybe she could hit a shot or two in garbage time when people aren't really trying quite at 100% but that would be it. And even then I would imagine the guys from the other team on the floor, even in garbage time, aren't gonna want to be the ones just letting people score because then they'd hear about it.
Oh, I'm sure she could hit a couple of shots early when the guys guarding her didn't respect her range. But other than that and a fluke bucket here or there like on an offensive rebound scramble she might only score after that at the free throw line.

Correct. Only if she had a huge run out would I see her scoring in the traditional sense and I could see her getting chased down if there was a defender close by .
Again, its not a jab at her. Its just, having watched male and female soccer players square, the Williams sisters square off against "lower" tier male professionals etc - and even an olympics relay race - its just how things are.

Someone is taking this internet message board thing a little too seriously. I don't hate Clark - incredible basketball talent! I don't particularly care for her antics on the court - it's why Monica C or Megan G were much more enjoyable to watch. I was joking about the Powerade thing. I buy either drink occasionally - depending upon the price. Anyway - if our statements upset you, that's on you, and you may want to head back over to HokReport or HokNation.
Local radio talking about how she will get people watching the WNBA. lol. Yea freaking right.
She'll have some local people watching a bit more but it won't move the needle much on the national level unless she sets the league on fire. And even then, it's the WNBA. even with increased viewership this season, only about 500K are tuning into watch your average game. And frankly, some of that bump was probably games on channels that had nothing else to broadcast due to the writers strike.
