Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Iowa has very little Talent. Sanfort is a good shooter but a role player on most teams. He’s Iowas star player. Nobody on that team scares any other team. Iowa spends all their NIL money on football and it shows.
Lol does it though? How much do you think it cost them to gain 12 yards in the second half against Minnesota? Guessing that ROI is ****

Agree 100% with your first 4 sentences. The last sentence, while true, I don’t think matters.

92 to Creighton
87 to Purdue
90 to Iowa State

The Creighton and OU games weren’t as close as the final score would indicate.

First half of Creighton game was close when both teams played half court and Krikke dominated with mid range game. Second half both teams tried to run and Creighton slaughtered them because they have decent ball handlers like ISU does.

Just got home from the game.

Iowa just let us get in the paint all night.....Rob and Tre were literally just playing catch. On the other end, we did not let them get into the paint. The only reason it wasn't a 40 point drubbing is they hit a few threes in the first and we got a little sloppy in the second. Of course I'm nitpicking here. We dominated.

Iowa was completely overwhelmed in every aspect of the game from the first possession. They looked scared and absolutely lost.

You do not get out scored 26-2 in the paint in first half unless you are soft as f**k. It’s not even about talent at that point - although it’s clear they might have 1-2 guys that would see any kind of minutes with us.

Lipsey has an uncharacteristic 5 turnovers, Milan played one of his worst games, Ward is out and we have a McDonalds All American on the bench. And we’re up 30 late.

This is just absolutely embrassing for Iowa. This is not one team super hot and the other ice cold like last year. This is being completely outclassed.

That Brock Harding kid for Iowa talks a ton for not contributing much. Was in Keshon and Tamin’s face a lot. Flexed at Tamin after he drew a charge (against Tamin) towards the end of the first half. lol.
This kid is in over his head. He was playing several feet off of Gilbert and still allowing him to blow by.

He’s like Mike Gessell 2.0

Isn't he the one that committed multiple intentional fouls, at least one of which was well away from the ball?

Yes, him trying to defend Big Rob in the paint on the second one was straight up comical.
It was definitely funny but think the intentional foul call was a little much there. Have seen a hundred guards do that same thing when they get switched on a big that deep in the post. And it wasn’t hard foul or clear path to the basket. A regular foul would have sufficed.

He literally wrapped him up as soon as he got the ball. It was the correct call.
