I'm not certain Klein gets hired by tamu WITHOUT a handshake agreement that Johnson is coming with. He may well be the prize in this whole thing. That's true. But at the same time - IDK. I have a feeling he stays. Could be wrong.

Day reminds me more of a Chip Kelly typeRyan Day is almost the complete opposite of Urban Meyer. I don't know that it'd work but it certainly wouldn't be for the same reasons. Day also has a much better offensive style for the NFL.

Eh, can't scheme a run game even close to that level. He's a really good passing game coordinator.Day reminds me more of a Chip Kelly type
I'm thinking about his coaching philosophy. I imagine he's a meticulous control freak. Works really well at the college level, doesnt work so well with a bunch of grown ass NFL veterans who make more money than youEh, can't scheme a run game even close to that level. ISU cannot, most other places, can.isn't that tampering? can you talk to other programs BEFORE entering the portal?

From a celebrating standpoint, it is a bit of both. I agree with what you are saying and realize it could happen to Iowa State. I am still celebrating a bit though because of some of those trash emaw fans on twitter that are always going after the Cyclones. Those fans remind me of the Utah ones.Well, as much as I dislike KState due to our numerous painful losses to them, I am not celebrating if their QB follows Klein to A&M. First, I think we can beat them with this kid. Second, I’d like to see the Big 12 retain its players and be a strong conference. Third, this could easily happen to ISU in the future and would be indicative of the pollution that may destroy college football as we know it. The recent proposal from the NCAA would only accelerate the separation of the big money league from everyone else.

You wanna bet?! Oh, wait, never mind.ISU cannot, most other places, can.
Unemployed and extremely rich. My dream job is to be a fired P4 coach.Klein will end up unemployed in 3 years, reminds me of Hoiberg leaving here.
If you are a college player that can start or even backup at P5 level but aren't good enough to make it to the NFL - why not?You make a lot of money playing college football. Especially as a transfer QB.
They are both from New Hampshire and both played college FB at New HampshireDay reminds me more of a Chip Kelly type
But not many of them at all are starter losses. I’m not concerned. It’s confusing to me the hawks don’t have more losses (yet)Sitting at 11

Couple of reasons, they were playing last weekend, and we were off. They also have more players that grew up either from Iowa or right around the state. But not many of them at all are starter losses. I’m not concerned. It’s confusing to me the hawks don’t have more losses (yet)

Looking at our list, most did not grow up near Iowa.
