I have no math for my opinion, but based upon my experience, excuses and not admitting the better team won hits about 90% of hogeyes. You think message board posters represent the majority opinion of a program's fanbase?

Wow.I think the fact that Iowa will play two likely top-10 programs to ISU's zero in the regular season takes away any doubt whose schedule will be tougher. I just don't think Utah, KSU, Kansas, WVU, etc., come close, then add in Houston, Baylor, TT, Cincy, UCF... This is where everyone knew things were going, Iowa's SoS would be amping up, ISU's would be amping down with no more round robin and OuT off the schedule.
You might need to find different people to hang with.I have no math for my opinion, but based upon my experience, excuses and not admitting the better team won hits about 90% of hogeyes.
ISU would be in the top 25 if they had Iowa’s cupcake schedule. But we can’t control the schedule outside the non-conference, tooRight, Iowa can’t control their schedule outside the non-con. So it would helpful if ISU ever finished in the top 25 in improving that metric.
A competent, top 70 offense would have given them a punchers chance in two the losses and certain W against Minnesota. What is the ‘chance of something more’?
You’re probably in the top 25 if you win your non-con games like Iowa did.ISU would be in the top 25 if they had Iowa’s cupcake schedule. But we can’t control the schedule outside the non-conference, too
This year's Iowa schedule was a cold pile of poo.ISU would be in the top 25 if they had Iowa’s cupcake schedule. But we can’t control the schedule outside the non-conference, too
I thought you were referring to the Michigan game. A top 70 offense might have got you being a 10 point dog.A competent, top 70 offense would have given them a punchers chance in two the losses and certain W against Minnesota.
Ranked SEC opponent, should be fun.Guess what Tennessee primarily likes to do offensively...... run the ball. Perfect matchup for Iowa. Expect another 10-3 type game there folks! So much excitement!
Ranked or not, ISU was possibly their best W of the season. I guess you could argue Wisconsin but that’s debatable. ISU was pretty far from dragging down iowas SOS.Right, Iowa can’t control their schedule outside the non-con. So it would helpful if ISU ever finished in the top 25 in improving that metric.
Agreed. Maybe Iowa can win against a team currently in the top 25. Iowa State has 2 such winsRanked SEC opponent, should be fun.
That reminds me, we gotta play those cheatin mfers this week, don't we?Wait until BB season. Those MF'ing refs and Wilson basketballs will be a real issue for the hoks.
Ranked SEC opponent, should be fun.
Agreed. But Iowa hasn’t had a top 70 offense in quite some timeA competent, top 70 offense would have given them a punchers chance in two the losses and certain W against Minnesota.
Yeah I was thinking ISU might eke its way in there.Agreed. Maybe Iowa can win against a team currently in the top 25. Iowa State has 2 such wins![]()
ISU doesn't have a pulse?Yep... your last chance of the year to show you can actually beat a team with a pulse. Good luck! It would be nice to be able to put at least 1 feather in your cap for this season.
ISU doesn't have a pulse?
Yep. ISU has more quality wins than other teams in the top 25. But it is what it is.Yeah I was thinking ISU might eke its way in there.
That is many years of witnessing complete nonsense. Truth be told I don't think i have ever heard that simple sentence - we got beat by a better team. Never. You might need to find different people to hang with.
