What if, hear me out now, WestO had Salespeople whose job it was to figure out how to get the product to the shelves and on tap. 
I wondered and hoped for this too. I swapped out domestics this tailgate season for Ames Lager, CloneFest, Jack Trice Ale, etc. but CloneFest was the only thing I ever saw at Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits that sold in even a 12 pack.
Really hope we at least get 12 packs, if not 24 by next season. I like to buy (and drink) in bulk.

Yup. We got it on the first run in Cresco and haven’t seen it in over a month. The local liquor store ran out of it quick.
You still need ways to get that capacity to the stores. I thought capacity was being increased in the Sept-Oct time frame. We should be seeing more product now?
I have. There were several 6-packs in the cooler at the Prairie Trail HyVee in Ankeny...they're usually on flats on the floor because they're gone so fast.
It helps that the beer (to me) is good and people just enjoy drinking it.
Purely anecdotal, but more seems to be hitting Ames sellers on “delivery Friday.” It just still flies off the shelves.
I had picked up Clonefest 1st because that's what I could find, when I picked up the Ames Lager the thing that surprised me was how easy of a drinker it is. It's one of those where did the 1st can go beers, goes down way too smooth.

JK... and have heard the same on Swarm. Still funny the Iowa radio guy, Andrew Downs, picked Ames Lager over Swarm in a blind taste test.
Ames Lager has come to Iowa City- Stacks at Waterfront Hy vee FYI for those in the belly of the beast.
Central and Eastern IA should see some this week if not already.
Haven't seen it in 12 packs but I'd love that. Maybe a 15 pack even.
That is good news. 2 Hy-Vees out here in Dubuque carrying it, but pretty hit or miss if it's in stock. I have yet to see it anywhere else. There is a 3rd Hy-Vee down by the river where I know the W/S Manager personally is a huge Hawkeye fan and am guessing he is not carrying it for a specific reason...None at Fareway either.
