Unless I didn't hear correctly the announcers claimed only two other triple doubles in ISU history. Can that be right? I thought Tinsley had one against Missouri at home.

He mentioned the last two both being current NBA point guards then I think he incorrectly said the “only two” later.

I think this is the 5th or 6th one an all time. Some programs have none.

In NBA this year Jokic already has 7 and next player only two. Tyrese doesn’t have one this year but he’s tied for 3rd in NBA with 13 double doubles.

There are a lot more Cyclones in Chicago than people realize. Had a lot of fun at game watches the 12 years I lived there and a ton of us went to that Duke game at the UC I went to.

1985 vs Illini at Chicago Horizon. Was at this game, and it was NOT a home game for the Illini. Not even close. And one of the weirdest games I've ever witnessed (ie no scoreboard or clock for the second half). Orr was not happy with the refereeing and I'm sure he got reprimanded for his post games comment. He was so entertaining. I believe that's the game where he said Moss had the longest arms for a white guy he's ever seen. Try saying that today.

Illinois fan support has always underwhelmed me in general, although they usually do have a pretty good environment in their home gym.
