So, he'll collect a good paycheck and in 3 years be fired. I'd sign up for that.
Yep, at his age (62) sure he took it for 2 reasons. 1) Wanted to test himself to see how he would do in a Power 5 Conference. 2) Finally got his big payday (good retirement nest egg).

That is a massive blow to Kansas
It's Leipold's offense. Coach K learned under him. Leipold just promoted the 2 assistant coaches I've heard that he values the most. By far his best recruiters. Similar to what Campbell did last year.

He improved the Cal offense a lot this year:

Wasn’t this guy at okie state a few years ago…???

Nevermind, not this guy. I can’t find the guy I was thinking of. I think he was there in 20 and 21…?

The guy that hired Fritz was also still in charge. Not the case anymore.

Fritz's buyout is believed to *only* be $1.5M. He'll be at Houston by Monday and that's a really good get for them. He'll turn it and stabilize it so it's ready to be turned over to the next guy.

And I thought you were gonna tell us our new fb coach?

How many ex NFL HCs in the prime of their careers with Houston ties are within the University's reach?

I imagine he learned a thing or two in the league and is not the same coach he was at Tech.

I also imagine Houston is a helluva better place to recruit to than Lubbock.
