Yep, at his age (62) sure he took it for 2 reasons. 1) Wanted to test himself to see how he would do in a Power 5 Conference. 2) Finally got his big payday (good retirement nest egg). So, he'll collect a good paycheck and in 3 years be fired. I'd sign up for that.
Good point. I don’t remember having much trouble under Campbell with Holgerson’s offensesHe did at WV
It's Leipold's offense. Coach K learned under him. Leipold just promoted the 2 assistant coaches I've heard that he values the most. By far his best recruiters. Similar to what Campbell did last year. That is a massive blow to Kansas
He improved the Cal offense a lot this year:
Wasn’t this guy at okie state a few years ago…???
Not sure who I was thinking of.He was a grad assistant when SKulletor was the OC at OSU, so 15 plus years ago? Maybe even the Les Miles regime.
I was thinking of this guy, but not at OSU. Was at WV at went to a lower level college in Texas as HC. Him and DH didn’t get along at the end of the second season. Not sure who I was thinking of.

Strippers and purple drankHow many ex NFL HCs in the prime of their careers with Houston ties are within the University's reach?
I imagine he learned a thing or two in the league and is not the same coach he was at Tech.
I also imagine Houston is a helluva better place to recruit to than Lubbock.
