Transfer Portal Tracker

I used to teach at Taco Tech. Lubbock is a long way from ANYTHING. 5 hours to OKC is your closest touch to civilization, unless you count the similarly-sized and similarly-boring Amarillo just 2 hours north. The people in Lubbock are friendly enough but it might be the most boring quarter-million-sized city in the United States.
Lubbock is a great college town. If a person is not associated with the university (enjoy TTU), it can be a drab place to live.

Fit’s the ISU model. A guy ISU recruited out of high school who played well at a lower level who is looking for a shot to move up a level. He’s been on campus even

Hope this doesn’t mean ISU lost a DT though
how would giving someone an offer mean we lost an existing player? lmao some people are so scared. I'm sure we'll lose someone more impactful than Eli Sanders to the portal/NIL but that's just the way it is. I'm confident in the staff Campbell has assembled

When my uncle lived in Brownsville Tx, he always said when he got to Dallas on his way home, he was halfway here. It takes us 11 to 12 hours to drive to Dallas from Bloomfield to visit our son, depending on traffic in Oklahoma City and Dallas, that is driving around 75 to 80 mph.
Yep, I taught in Brownsville for 5 years or so. When I’d came back home to Iowa we’d stop at my aunt’s house in Ft. Worth and that was halfway for us.

What happened to the four star running back recruit from
Stanford. Did he redshirt or is he just not any good. I expect Sama to lead the way next season but is that dude gonna be a player?

Strangely, I actually have some insight on that. I work with one of his high school coaches. According to him, there was an issue in the way the transfer papers were filed which took time to sort out. I guess it was super frustrating. But when I spoke to my co-worker about it today, he said that Harris is excited about next year.

I think we beat Iowa and Ohio with Dekkers, but then later in the year we would have lost some Big 12 games with Dekkers that we won with Becht…. if that makes sense?

Becht started the year playing a little timid and the coaches didn’t let him do much. I think Dekkers would have been better at the start of the season IMO.
I get your thought process on this. Dekkers (when at his absolute best) can be better than Rocco, probably more gifted in the arm strength department, etc

I think after a season of tape on Rocco this is clear though. Rocco's floor and baseline is MUCH higher than Dekkers. Consistency is what makes a great QB and Rocco is consistent. He makes better decisions, scans defenses quicker, and usually makes the right read.

I personally think he's all big 12 next year. If not for Quin Ewers/Gabriel he would've been there this year.

That’s great to hear. Provide depth or see how good he is. Thanks for the info

Didn't see the food trucks. I people watched. I enjoy that so it made it bearable.
Really, last time we were there was pre covid, and out back they had that lined with food trucks serving up food and drink, at decent prices. Had a huge area that was Astroturf for kids to play and a large gazebo with misting fans to keep the people cool and out of the sun, lots of picnic tables to sit in the shade and enjoy a drink. Again, no alcohol, but it was nice and would have been great to sit and people watch. My daughter and I sat out there a good hour while my wife was shopping, I tend to think I got the better of the deal.

Amarillo by morning - George Strait. One of the top five songs on my list by him. Look forward to seeing him again in May!
So was my wife until we saw the price of tickets, twice for her will have to be enough.
