Yes, I heard this past weekend on a broadcast bowls don't count against redshirting.

Sorry if this thread is suppose to be strictly ISU transfers but I saw this tweet and thought it was worth mentioning. Just shows you the amount of money that is going around. Ward isn't a bad qb but 1 million for a qb that lead a team 5-7 is insane to me.

This doesn’t surprise me. Ward is a really good QB! It also seems suspect if arguably the top QB in the portal is only garnering $1M offers from big bucks blue bloods, that the going rate for excellent safeties is $600K. That just seems high

Its Becht job at the start of the next season and it should be, and it's up to Kohl to go out and take the job away from him, that is what every coach wants, the competition for the position, which will in turn make both of the better. If Kohl cannot take the job, then he will leave and find someplace else to start.

If JJ is better this staff will see and give him his chance like they did with Brock.

He's a proven ELITE talent.. Wouldn't Ohio St fans come up with $2M to beat Michigan with him as your starter versus the B- talent they have under center today?

I think they were more or less saying Heacock will retire from here, and not leave for another position elsewhere. He has financial ($1mill+/year) security here. He can leave (retire) whenever he wants.

It's become pay for play, so he just cashes the check, I suppose at some schools there could be some types of NIL related items, but for most is just paying them to play.
