Rot setting in on Klieman's program. He seemed irrationally mad after Saturday night's game
Agreed, he looked real good during his playing timeI think Kstate upgrades at QB next year with Avery Johnson
I could see Pitt as an option. He’s from Pennsylvania.Future USC QB Will Howard?
Notre Dame maybe?I could see Pitt as an option. He’s from Pennsylvania.
Think he'll be okay with all the rot surrounding our program?Scheelhause already gave him our napkin after the game Saturday. Let’s see what happens lol.
I thought I read that Hufford has a Covid year if he chooses to use it.Remsberg, Hufford, Simmons, and Treiber were all seniors this year
They have drew allar he will be a junior next yearWill Howard seems like the perfect QB for Satterfield at cincy, however I doubt he stays in the conference. Penn State maybe?
We could really use him to bridge the gap, but I would totally understand if he wants to be done. O-line is all about packing weight on top of an already bulky frame, it really takes its toll after a while.I thought I read that Hufford has a Covid year if he chooses to use it.
Ah, i looked at the wrong thing. Wasnt aware he still had that much eligibilityThey have drew allar he will be a junior next year
Kicker
OLB
DE
Corner
WR
Replacements for any outgoing transfers. The best part is none of these are MUST get situations.
These WR's were such good recruits, and I am hoping they can retain them all. Gaines, Parkes, Black, and Ngoyi all could be really good players in due timeI don't see OLB as a huge need. They've got a ton of young guys at the LB position that really improved this year. Bacon, McLaughlin, Lovett, Willich and Sadowsky. Even Jacob Ellis got a little bit of action. If there was an upgrade, great, but there would have to be a lot of guys they don't feel good about developing to see that as a huge need.
Probably can't happen, but if Drew Surges put on 25 lbs, maybe he becomes a LB in the future as well.
I kind of feel the same about DE, unless you lose guys. With Onyedim, Jones, Ezeogu, Peterson, you've got a lot of snaps returning. Plus you have Same who was a pretty good recruit,. If the LB depth is okay, I could see Bacon move to DE as well.
I would put the needs like this.
1. CB - You've got Purchase. Is Darian Porter returning? I haven't loved what I've seen out of Jontez Williams.
2. DT - You've got Singleton and Orange, who are awesome, but who is there after that? I bet nobody can name another DT without looking at teh roster. Plus, with a 3 man line, you can play Singleton and Orange together at times if you want to beef things up.
3. K
4. WR - not for next year, but after. Iowa State can shuffle in a lot of WRs, but you rarely, if ever saw Adams, Essex and Gaines, so I really wonder if they will all be back (or if they are massive losses). According to cyclones.com, Essex and Adams didn't participate in any games and Gaines appeared in 5 only. Next year, the 3 Srs will dominate the PT (Noel, Higgens and Jackson) and you have to wonder if Kai Black and/or Ngoyi are moving ahead of those other 3.
Listened to the K-State pod this morning with Tim Fitzgerald. He thinks NDNotre Dame maybe?
