We lose 1 starter and have 4 incoming 2024 freshmen. That said, if Clanton wants a guy in the portal, by all means lets get him.

Theres a lot of good talent already in the portal. One of the benefits of all these coaches being fired/taking new jobs. Indiana lost there center today, has some good PFF grades, FWIW

Replacements for any outgoing transfers. The best part is none of these are MUST get situations.

honestly kicker would be my highest priority out of all of these... unless Contreraz can come back for a COVID year or something I think he's out of eligibility. Hopefully we can find another good kicker in the portal.

We do have Jace Gilbert who backed up Contreraz all year. He was shaky as a freshman, but he's an option.

I could see him at like SDSU or NDSU too. I would think he will at least have some FCS opportunities.

I think the train of thought is that he will not be eligible to compete under the NCAA because he bet on the ISU Football Team when we was on the roster. Because of that, he would be permanently ineligible for FBS, FCS, DII and DIII level squads. That leaves JUCO, NAIA, and a couple other Community College options.

schools hire guys to watch other players throughout the year incase they enter the portal. They have plenty of tape on you already.

OL recruit to starter is normally a 3 year process. Need some stop gaps until Clanton's recruits are ready.

Agree, should look for good kickers in the portal and never from high school

Maybe I put that in the wrong transfer thread. It got a little confusing between Cooper supposedly getting half million dollar offers to speculation about how much we can pay each basketball player.
