Norton and Sanders

I get the reasons why both would want to leave. They both had good spells for us but weren't able to elevate themselves to "the guy" for a variety of reasons. They wouldn't have stayed for the bowl game anyways, so it's really only one game they are missing out on, and it turns out giving the carries to the guy still here ended up winning the game. Best of luck to both of them.

They were both running the ball well too. That's unfortunate and might have been a disaster if Sama got hurt Sat.

EDIT: I forgot about Hansen but still...

Even if they were told Sama wouldn’t have been ahead of them, but they were going to be in a RB by committee situation for the next 2 years they still may have chosen to transfer. Im not gonna hold it against them. I just hope they land somewhere where they do get the situation they’re hoping for

My guess is they started their transfer prep a little early, the staff caught wind, and didn't want anyone that wasn't completely committed to the squad making that trip.

That was my guess too. I think the staff has been helpful to guys who realized they weren't going to get time and wanted to go somewhere to play. Maybe the "how" wasn't quite right.

Sama didn't see the field vs Kansas. I'm assuming he got dinged up in the Baylor game (based on commentary found here on CF).
He looked like he got concussed in the last drive of Baylor to me, but didn’t see anyone else confirm

I agree, as long as it isn’t a school on our future schedule:
