I hope you are right, but the powers that be have proved multiple times, tOSU is never really out.

They wouldn't get in over any undefeateds or 1 loss Oregon, Washington, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, or Texas.

Maybe there's a scenario where Washington wins pac 12 knocking Oregon out, Georgia beating Bama, Texas and FSU lose in title games.

That's a lot of breaks they'd need to go their way.

In tOSU eyes, sure, but it’s just funny to me that hot coaches strive to go to schools like this, where losing only one game a year still puts your job in jeopardy. What a horrible existence, imo.

Do you actually want to win a national title or just pretend that's a goal.

It wouldn't be a fun existence but if you're not a coach of about half a dozen schools you don't really have a chance to win a national title. Too big of a talent gap.

For the record, michigan isn't one of those teams so it would be an incredible upset if they were to win it all.

Undefeateds yes but 1 loss teams they will be right in it. FSU also is without their QB which is a factor.

Will be quite interesting if Day gets canned and Harbaugh leaves for NFL. Two biggest programs in B1G both seeking to grab a great hire. Odds are one falls flat.
Moore is the harbaugh replacement and Heartline is Day’s replacement, one could fail but they are the top candidates in the country

Emotions are high right now, but I do not see them firing Day. That just isn’t how Gene Smith or OSU operate.

Either of the Texas or SEC schools. Yeah he’d probably be ****-canned
