Cyclones vs Hawks

We’ve got 3 starters out, they have 4. We just have much better depth and they have Bradley Hill.

Cabanban out. Started the dual last year and broke Lee. Terukina replaces him.
Paniro out. Big 12 champ. Swiderski replaces him.
Schon out. Big recruit. Bumped up Yonger to replace him.

Listen to Fellers on the Stalemates show today and his comment was dead on. Basically when you are with the hawks they are 100% with you but the moment you step away you are the enemy. That's how they have always been and always will be. They eat their own.

If you ever get the chance to talk to Metcalf at a social or outing, ask him about this. He talks about the bubble TnT have created and that's all you see when you're in the bubble. He said he never saw it until he stepped out and got away.

What am I missing about Arnold at 174? Is it really that big of an upset that he beat Wittlake? Every single wrestling publication seems to be pushing it on their social media. I guess I just didn't see it as that big of a deal.

No but Hawkeyes have the biggest fan base and it’s excitement for a team that lost some momentum. Social media looks for clicks and traffic and Iowa fanbase brings that

Big time true freshman recruit for Iowa beats #11 ranked wrestler. That’s basically why.

Great write up. All the way down to the part they gave both Arnold and Gaitan 3 team points at 174, then took 3 away from Iowa just for sending Glazier out there at 197.

For clarity, they have it 21-14, good guys (as opposed to 24-11 written in the article).
