* Awesome to see Omaha feeling more at ease. Some of his finishes impressed me as well as that Euro-step. It doesn't seem like he'll be able to put the ball on the deck a lot vs. B12 competion; I hope I'm wrong. I'd love to see a catch-and-shoot mid-range game from him so teams would have to guard him tighter. I've been watching to see if he ever is the lone big - playing what seems like the 5 - but I haven't noticed it yet. I thought maybe with Hason out and the level of competition, we might see something like Omaha and Milan as the 5 and 4 on D but he's usually paired with Tre or BRE. TJ knows best but I'll keep looking for it.

Not super pivotal playing time, but I believe there might have been a lineup out there for just a bit in the second half, after Jones and King were out for good, that had Biliew playing the 5 with Watson and MM both still on the court as well. Then it wasn't too long before Fish came in and Biliew slid up to the 4. I imagine we might see it more, but with the strength of Grambling State's big man, it also might not have been the best day to try it much.

don't worry about it cause there is a team in the eastern side of the state who are being proclaimed national chaps in both men and women bb. just read the dm rag and listen to channel 8 . lol

I'm really looking forward to December 7th. This yrs offense along with yr 3 of a stout defense. I hope we run the hawks out of the gym.

Yeah, could be. I'd love the flexibility of TJ trusting Omaha to guard a 5 in key moments. He may not be there yet but I love the options that it would open up for us.

This orlando tourney is going to be really fun to watch to see how we do against P5 competition

Agreed - especially since it's "middle of the road" P5 competition. It, plus Iowa and Depaul, are a good warmup to conference play but all winnable games. Frankly we should be favored in all of them - although if we play TAMU or FAU in the tourney final, they'll probably be favored. There's no UConn in this tourney like last year.

I still have random dreams about forgetting to study for a test or a deadline for some major project. Wake up and remind myself it's not 2013 stressing about CS 311 every day.
