I do know that he was only born in Omaha. Most Creighton fans are red Nebraska fans who root for Creighton because UNL sucks in MBB.

I was also born in Omaha but wouldn't say I'm Nebraskan considering i lived in Iowa the entirety of my childhood. Creighton fans who follow football are generaly UNL fans, a smaller subset of die hard UNL fans are Creightone BB fans. Regardless, not seeing the point of the argument. Nebby fans don't care at all about ISU.

I don't care how 'fun' it is (Iirc Iowa is labeled as 'fun' to watch) but Omaha's athleticism is fun to think about if he gets to a dominant level.

Omaha has all the talent in the world and just needed to let it naturally play out. Between the baseline drive from the arc and the put back dunk, it's obvious why there was so much hype.

I hate to see a guy go down but I think Ward being out opens a door for Omaha. I would not be surprised to see Omaha take that starting spot soon. Ward and Bob Jones bring their size and toughness and are valuable pieces but they will never be able to do the things that Omaha can do on the basketball court. Once we start facing the top half of the Big 12 it will help having 5 guys on the floor who can attack the basket and make a shot. If Omaha plays to his potential we will be a harder team to defend.

We need Ward as a rim protector. He’s the only guy on the team who can really challenge in the paint. It’s huge for our defense. I like Omaha at the 3 personally.
