Yes because people are just lining up to control game traffic on a Saturday...
If only we had a bridge
Interesting. I was in Dallas and Austin a couple of weeks ago. Austin on game day. I presume they qualify as big time, big city. They can’t figure it out. People actually die daily on the roads. If someone wants us to be big time, big city, then handle your traffic like they do.
I probably should qualified my response. I’m thinking specifically of Kansas City. When we were there for a game a few years ago, driving in and driving out were specifically directed. Much smoother even if I had to drive where I personally didn’t want to, because it was better overall for all.Interesting. I was in Dallas and Austin a couple of weeks ago. Austin on game day. I said this when they were building. The bridge did nothing to address vetmed and student lot foot traffic without a proper sidewalk. I’m guessing that wasn’t really the point but I’d imagine with a proper sidewalk people would be more likely to use it.We park far away and walk just to avoid this mess. Part of the problem is the south side of 16th has a sidewalk on part of it, and a dirt path on the other part and nothing on the bridge over the creek. So you expect people to walk on the south side of the road, cross the street when there's thousands of potentially drunk drivers coming, and then cross back after the bridge? They should have just put a sidewalk on both sides of the bridge.
