JP's pregame hype tape!

Was reminded. Still 12 years to the day and going into break. Doubt Friday vs Saturday makes much of a difference

Never doubt a bunch of students who want to go home. Hell I was one of them 25 years ago. Always stay for the game!!! Learn from my mistake.

I was a student at the Okie State game and bought tickets to a few winter break BB games so might be a little blinded.

So, these days Thanksgiving break is a week long? (Man, am I old.)

Wait a day-and-a-half, go home Sunday. Maybe that's asking too much.
You’re not that old. When I was an undergrad, ISU was on the quarter system and Thanksgiving week was a week long quarter break.

The student section was full 12 years ago to the day on Saturday for the Okie State win. It may not be 100% but it will be far from empty in the student section.
I hope that those student tickets, for those students not able to make the game, could be given away somehow. Maybe High School students, local fans, something. We need the student section filled and loud!

Do the dorms still close at noon on Saturday?

Dorms don't close, but the dining centers do.

If you are a student and the main thing holding you back from going to this game is the dining centers being closed PM me as we will have breakfast lunch and dinner for you at our tailgate...

Yes, it is part of the package, and no, most will leave after class on Friday.

Daughter (ISU freshman) won't be there but she wants to be. She likely won't be back in time from Nationals in Texas.
Update on this. Nationals not going well. If they lose today and are out Mrs. Velo and daughter may just drive through the night to get back to Ames for the game.

...sorry about daughter's games. :(
Well it is the national championship. They were probably lucky to get there. I heard they were facing some pace of play in one game like they hadn't seen all season.

Point is, if she can get there from Central Texas everyone should be shaming their students into sticking it out for one day and go to the game.
