Is this game part the student ticket package? Will they be there with Thanksgiving break underway?
Yes, it is part of the package, and no, most will leave after class on Friday.
Daughter (ISU freshman) won't be there but she wants to be. She likely won't be back in time from Nationals in Texas.
Hope the people in the Sukup Club listen to JP. They’re the worst when it comes to making any noise/being engaged in the game
Yes. Winter break for basketball is the only time student season tickets for any sport is held back.

The dorms don't close, do they? I think a significant # will stick around for an important, nice-weather game to kick UT out the door. A home game Fri or Sat after Thanksgiving is a different story, of course.
Yeah, in the early 80's we only got Th & Fri off. We had a bad snowstorm one Wed before Thanksgiving that resulted in the first weather-related cancellation of classes in something like 50 years.
Yeah it's sad that for a game of this magnitude last time for Texas in Ames that we likely will have little or no students.
The student section was full 12 years ago to the day on Saturday for the Okie State win. It may not be 100% but it will be far from empty in the student section.
That was a Friday night.
Also for those going traffic especially post game may be fun due to All State.

In 1973 classes were cancelled on the Monday after Easter. Many could not get back because of snow storm......Thankgiving break was also Quarter Break. The end of finals week for Fall Quarter....No semesters back then. I am truly old
