Survivor 45

I don't really like anyone in the game right now. Kinda rooting for Bruce out of spite since he annoys them so much.
As much as they all dislike him, I can't see anyone on the jury voting for him. We were talking about someone intentionally bringing him to the final 3 just because of that.

Maybe they would based on merit, but hard to tell.

Thought Bruce was lucking out by having the least money but didn't think about the fact that everyone would have money to outbid him.

Jake is a fantastic blend of underwhelming gameplay but entertaining player. Whiffed the Kaleb vote and completely misread the logic of Kellie’s blindside, then immediately wins me back over my whispering “people are playin suhvivah” and the “WOAH!” after the vote.

Great episode once again. This season is redeemed from those brutal early quitters.

Why do women bring up an all girl alliance every single season? It never works. Ever. Yet every season we see someone bring it up. Just because they are the same sex as you does not make them trustable. It's so dumb

Wow what a shocking twist. Didn’t see that coming. Good work by the producers. Good edit on that to make us think he was for sure going home. Yet, threw in a mini convo that they should vote for her.

Episodes like this are why survivor is so much better than big brother. Suspense is much better and blindsides are much more frequent.

Jeff said on a talk show future quitters won't get the privilege of their torch being snuffed.

I have always been a fan of big brother. However, it's almost annoying how bad it is produced. We always know who is going home. Nobody wants to rock the boat for the frist 12 weeks of the season so the whole house votes one way. IT's became boring. They need to change some stuff. And when I say change, not have the viewers vote for their favorite house guest and them give them some magical power. Make it fair. Maybe hide a power of veto somewhere in the house and if someone finds it the can keep it and not tell anyone and use it when they want. So yeah immunity idol. Big Brother edits stuff to make certain people look great and certain people look bad, then has viewers vote who they like. The Cameron guy on the last season was edited so good and the houseguests all dislike him. Yet he won favorite player.

Especially given the fact that anyone who's on the show these days are almost always going to be superfans of the show, and should know that the boy/girl alliance thing never holds up.

Exactly. 45 seasons of an all girl alliance not working, "Oh I have an idea, let's start an all girl alliance". Yet, none of them ever say that won't work. They just run to the first guy they trust and let them know what the deal is.

I agree with wanting players to stay that annoy or conflict with others. I'm also actually now liking Emily for her redemption arc and Austin for his quest for food.

This is a 2nd season an America voting power is why the winner was even able to be at the end. Season 8 had America player Eric Stein and America directed him to save D ick Donato and this year the Power Matt got saved Jag when he was getting voted out.

I know there could be some suspense if you avoid feeds and spoilers but it's so hard to do that. These days even if a blindside is planned in BB someone in the house notifies the person before the show. It's so annoying. I'm very close to being done with big brother. Last season I enjoyed was season 20.

The casting has been brutal. Avoid getting all the stereotypes and get the best 16 people period.

Great episode and I love the new twist to the Survivor auction. Can't believe 2015 was the last time they did one but they did a great job making it fun and taking away they bad part where everyone held out to buy an advantage. At least having the varying ammount of money and the lose your vote if you have the most left st the end made it entertaining.

As for the vote it was a great blindside. At the point where got to start taking out power players before they start winning immunity or have less chances to use an ad advantage. Also anyone wil aspirations to make the final 3 need big votes like that to build a resume.

As for all female alliances this was about the only one I think ever worked and it took some great game play to get the last male left to be suckered into giving up immunity. Erik still owns the dumbest move in Survivor history after all these years.

I really enjoyed Jeff's negotiations for sit outs for rice. I couldn't stop laughing at Jeff's joy in the move.
.

It kind of feels like someone sat Jeff down and said “quit with all the nonsense and be the host you started out as when hosting the show”. He got way way off course for to many years.

I said similarly, I don't really like any of the remaining players. I even said probably Emily is my favorite of the ones left. And she was so ultra-unlikable that first episode!

Him sticking a knife in the bag to speed up negotiations was great. He even made a comment that he doesn't like to be predictable which has been a big criticism of the show lately that it has been too predictable.
