Discussion on tie breakers.. it sucks..

Big 12 is clarifying the tie breaker rules tomorrow so I'd just wait for that.

Ok then. Don't watch. I posted the video that answers questions that you may have. I don't want to type out a bulleted list whether you think it belongs or not.

It pretty much takes a 25 minute video! You can read the rules for yourself, but frankly, I still needed an explanation after reading them.

The fact that they have to clarify rules with two weeks left is stupid. Get your **** in order before the season starts. With unbalanced schedules, this couldn’t have been a surprise. And if it was, someone needs to be fired.

I listened this morning and as far as I can understand is that if we win out, we need either Oklahoma or Okie St to drop one game out of their last two to make the championship game.
That's what I understand as well. Provided we win out, a Kansas loss helps us too, since if we are tied with more than one team and all the tied teams didn't play each other it defaults to the record against the next highest placed team.

Yeah....stinks....I mean, we should have beat KU and it' non issue.
But we still have to win out for a shot, but would stink to win out and not get the championship game

I watch his videos, and it's nice to listen to all big 12 news that's not just iowa state. I watched this when he released it, good points, but there's too many possibilities to list them in bullets.

Wonder if the schools could all override the tiebreakers set before the season with something last minute that puts a school like ISU, which will have played a tougher schedule, in the Championship game if it wins out regardless. Stack it so it favors ISU (which would have played all 4 of KSU, OSU, OU and UT) and OSU (which would have played OU, ISU and KSU) so they meet in the Championship and leaves out OUT. HAahaha.... I would love it. Would be such delicious revenge....

If we finish 7-5 (6-3) or 8-4 (7-2) that would be unbelievable. I'm not even worried about the Big 12 Championship. If we make it awesome, but what this team has done this year is truly remarkable however it ends up. Getting to 6 wins and a bowl game with this team was something most thought impossible after Ohio. I have really enjoyed watching this team grow and I am looking forward to Saturday.

I mean if the B10 can put in Ohio State over Indiana in 2020, then why not?

This season is already a big success, even being at the "bull **** team" line of 6 wins. There was plenty of reasons to believe we wouldn't even get this far, and we clearly have plenty to build on going forward. Everything else after this point this season is just a bonus.

One True Campion! Do we remember Baylor and TCU a few years ago? This conference just can’t plan ahead for anything. It’s always reactive instead of proactive. Very frustrating.
