I know it was one game game against a bad team but I like what I saw. There is something 'different' about this team. A bit more length and athletic ability IMO. Not to mention offense doesn't look like it will be painful all season.
The continued caveat of course is "factoring the opponent," but it did look different. Among numerous things, It seems like there was more consistent motion ... we have "more ways to score" than previous two seasons ... the depth & varied dynamic is going to fun and high-potential.

We'll face several teams that fluster us or make it more of a grind (although Otz teams have shown the ability to win those, too ... sometimes).

I was a little worried about a defensive drop off but I'm less worried after last night. The defensive effort was awesome. Combine that with a team that has more length, athleticism and depth than last year and I don't think they'll be much of a drop off. Also Kayden Fish is going to be a great 4 year guy and could get some playing time this year I think.

Analysis.................Green Bay was awful. Probably would have a tough time winning the 4A title in high school.

With that said.....back court will be the strength this year. Front court, way too early. There is no rim protector, and Robert is, well.......Robert. Will have to see how that unfolds. Omaha gets the game to slow down for him will make a huge impact on that area.

Offensively.......I don't care who was making them, the fact they were letting it fly is a trend in the right direction. Get another couple of guys to become threats along with Milan will make a huge difference in where this team finishes.
