Going to run out of candy.
Big change from past years when I might not get but two or three groups. Demographics changing in the hood plus my one neighbor has some really weird colored LED lights that the kids seem to want to come look at.

Dressed as a member of ISUCFVMB.
Started a leave of absence from work. Started looking to see what football games started at 11. The realized it's Thursday 
Semi whirlwind of a week ahead and kind of thankful we are done officiating. Saturday taking LittleWx to the ISU game. Sunday evening I leave for 2.5 days in Houston to get back for a friends concert Wednesday night.
My father was an aeronautical engineer for Aerojet, then Convair, then Boeing. He was so pro Boeing that he referred to McDonnell Douglas as "brand X".
He had a knack for hearing a plane fly over and tell you what it was without looking up...a skill I do NOT share.

Took me this long to notice, but Canvas avoids a constant annoyance.
Once a semester, someone turns in something using Pages instead of Word or whatever. Canvas doesn't seem to care what you use. It just converts everything into the text feature on the screen. Didn't realize it until I just looked at something and said "what is that format?" and realized that my answer now is "I don't care."

If this last couple of weeks were a winter type weather, I could get behind that. I could become a snow bird.
Being in line to pick up your kids 45+ minutes before they get out of school is one thing. But what psychopaths' have their lives so put together that they are lined up 20+ minutes before they can drop them off?
